I understand that Helena is a unique place and it deserves leadership that reflects it. As your commissioner, I promise to make Helena work for the people, not box stores and gas stations.
As a small business owner, homeowner, leader of a small nonprofit, and community organizer, I am intimately aware of our City's needs. I'm ready to work for you.
As the largest tax base and the cultural heart of the City, Downtown Helena deserves to be accessible, beautiful, and well-maintained.
Helena is a haven for non-motorized travel. I want to make our streets safer and more accessible for cyclists, wheelchair-users, strollers, and pedestrians.
Being car-less shouldn't be crippling in the Capitol. I want a bus system that works for everyone, runs on time, and that you don't need a phone to access.
Our parks and trail system are the envy of Mountain West cities! I'm committed to supporting and expanding our outdoor spaces, protecting wildlife habitat, and finishing Centennial Trail.
It's the City's responsibility to maintain the services we pay for. Our water should taste right. Our streets should be plowed. Our intersections shouldn't cost $3.5 million dollars to improve.
Alive @ 5, Art Walk, our parades, and murals make Helena a vibrant place to live. I'm ready to cut red tape, stand up to NIMBYism, and keep Helena awesome!
Citizens have a right to know what their government is doing. Whether that's spraying for weeds or major infrastructure projects, I'll make sure you're informed every step of the way.
Are you sick of the City funding studies and not acting on the findings? Me too! As your commissioner, I'll put your tax dollars to work.
